Our country home is located between the lovely villages of Vernon and Winchester on 15 acres of land. We have transformed part of our finished basement as the indoor doggie daycare area and we also have a fenced-in area for outdoor playtime. The dogs can also enjoy walking, running and sniffing on our 5-acre open field and will always be carefully supervised!
Jo-Ann's Homecare For Dogs opened on May 1, 2004, and is operated by Jo-Ann Steele. Jo-Ann is thrilled to pursue her dream of being with dogs all day long. She has had the good fortune of being associated with Carolark - Centre for Applied Canine Behaviour in Kanata since April 1999. Jo-Ann is still helping people there learn the skills required to train their companion dogs basic good manners. Everything that she has acquired from numerous seminars and at Carolark's training centre will be incorporated in operating Jo-Ann's Homecare For Dogs. She truly believes that dogs are part of the family and deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
